In this project we intend to study about dams and a do a case study on Tehri dam itself. We also intend to analyse the structure of a dam on Abacus or STAAD pro. We will try to incorporate various technologies used for making the dam more resistant to earthquakes and try to improve upon the present structure of the Tehri dam.
